Fremantle Boat Harbour
Fremantle is one of WA ‘s first settlements and where 200 years ago the British government brought its convicts. Making them build their own prisons, city infrastructure and work in the limestone quarry was no picnic for sure.
Visit the habour where the fishing fleet is based and see some of the states most expensive leisure crafts (more than 40,000 in WA). Visit the prison and see first hand the gallows, cat of nine tails and the cells. Taking more than 30 years to build the prisoners had a hard life.
